Dr. DeVon Binns

Born and raised in Bermuda, Dr. DeVon Binns has dedicated his career to pursuing excellence while remaining deeply committed to serving the community that shaped him. His educational journey began at Saltus Grammar School, where he graduated as Head Boy. During his secondary education, he was selected as a Rotary International Exchange Student to France, an experience that broadened his global perspective and appreciation for cultural diversity. That same year, he was honored by Bermuda Teen Services as both Outstanding Teen of the Year and Outstanding Student Athlete, recognizing his achievements in leadership, academics, athletics, and community service.

Dr. Binns earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he was also a Division I soccer player. Following college, he proudly represented Bermuda on numerous occasions as a member of the Bermuda Men’s National Soccer Team, competing internationally while continuing to pursue his professional aspirations. His experiences as both a collegiate and international athlete instilled the discipline, perseverance, and teamwork that continue to define his approach to patient care and leadership.

He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry before completing a comprehensive General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. There, he received advanced training in comprehensive restorative dentistry, oral surgery, emergency dental care, and the treatment of medically complex patients.

Committed to providing the highest level of care, Dr. Binns pursued advanced postgraduate training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he completed a Specialty Designation in Oral Implantology. This intensive 2-year program provided advanced expertise in dental implant surgery, digital treatment planning, full-mouth implant rehabilitation, bone grafting, and complex restorative procedures.
